Achelle Cortel-LeBlanc

Biography
Dr. Cortel-LeBlanc is a fluently bilingual (English/Français) clinical neurologist with a special interest in headache – especially post-traumatic headache; traumatic brain injury, stroke, and healthcare system improvement. She is an active staff in the Division of Neurology at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa where she also works as the Rotation Director for Mandatory Selectives in Undergraduate Medical Education. She is the Neurology Lead at 360 Concussion Care, a multi-disciplinary learning health system with 3 clinics in Ontario, where she contributes to research, operations, knowledge translation and education. She designed, implemented and evaluates a concussion curriculum for medical trainees. At the Ontario Medical Association, Dr. Cortel-LeBlanc is on the Section Executive for Neurology. She also provides medico-legal opinions for neurology cases across Canada.
