Alain Michon, MD

Biography

Dr Michon has a medicine doctorate (Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine) from the University of Ottawa. He is currently an emergency physician at the Hôpital Montfort as well as rotation director for Acute Care Emergency at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa. He is also the scientific director of the Simulation laboratory at the Hôpital Montfort, a new training tool allowing the reproduction of various scenarios in order to offer a better training to health professionals and improve the quality and security of services offered to patients. His research interests focus on the processes of learning by simulation, continuous training and on communication between health professionals.
