Biography

Dr Bernadett Kovacs completed her graduate medical education at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia (1996-2010). She moved to Montreal, Quebec, where she trained at Mc Gill University, the historic Royal Hospital, in internal Medicine (2010-2013). Following residency, she moved to Ottawa, where she completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Ottawa (2013-2015).

She has extra qualifications and training at the instructor level in Acute Critical Events Simulation (ACES) as well as flight and transport medicine. She currently is involved in education for the critical care fellows, residents and students both at the Ottawa Hospital and at Montfort. She also travels to Sudbury and Thunder Bay campus of the Northern Ontario School Medicine (NOSM) both in the capacity of an ACES instructor and as a clinician.

Throughout her training, she has been involved in research and medical education activities. She has multiple projects under way at present time.
