Daniel Amyot, PhD

Biography

Daniel Amyot has been a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa since 2002. His research interests centre on software engineering, requirements engineering, process modelling, health informatics and regulatory compliance. He has over 160 publications in these fields. Daniel led the ITU-T User Requirements Notation (URN) standardization initiative. He has collaborated with many Ontario hospitals on different health-related computer modelling and application projects. Daniel has doctoral and master’s degrees in computer science from the University of Ottawa
