Biography

Dr. Karam’s research in medical artificial intelligence focuses on the development of an innovative platform to improve knowledge sharing and decision-making in family medicine. This project brings together information from experts and family doctors to offer optimized responses to various clinical cases. By addressing critical challenges in the healthcare system, it aims to improve access to high-quality medical knowledge, support clinical decision-making and encourage collaboration between healthcare professionals, particularly in the French-speaking community of Eastern Ontario. Through this innovative approach, Dr Karam aims to transform medical practice and patient care by combining advanced technologies and collective intelligence.
