Geneviève Lemay, MD

Biography

Dr Lemay holds a doctorate in medicine, a specialization in internal medicine and a sub-specialization in geriatric medicine from the University of Ottawa. She also holds a Masters in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa in the Department of Medicine.  She member of the Division of Geriatrics at the Ottawa Hospital and practices as a Geriatric Medicine specialist at Montfort Hospital 

She is actively involved in Undergraduate Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine in her role of Assistant Dean Admissions since 2016. 

Her clinical research focuses on polypharmacy and the concept of “deprescribing”, delirium, dementia as well as on the care of elderly patients during hospitalization.
