Ivan Ivanov

Biography

A former professional journalist and former internal communications and media relations officer, I am currently a professor at the University of Ottawa. My research concerns the study of internal and external communication processes, strategies and tools within organizations. I am interested in the changes in skills of communicators in connection with the changes in the professions of the communication function in the digital age. I am currently studying how communication practices act on organizations by transforming them. At the methodological level, I have developed a close expertise in the field of organizational ethnography and in vivo and in situ observation.
