Manon Denis Leblanc
Biography
Dr. Denis-LeBlanc obtained his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 1997. She continued her studies in family medicine at the Montfort Hospital and completed her residency there in 1999. Pedagogy having always attracted her, she became engaged in the process of establishing a completely francophone medical studies program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa in 1995. She also supervised internships before becoming co-director of the clerkship from 2004 to 2006. She is therefore implicated in various leadership projects aimed at advancing efficiency and quality, as well as electronic record migration projects. In 2010, she became President of the Scientific Committee of the Montfort days, a renowned French-language continuing medical education conference in Ontario that attracts more than 250 physicians and health professionals each year. In August 2017, Dr. Denis-LeBlanc is promoted to the position of Vice-Dean of the Francophone component of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
