Biography
Martin Lauzier is an occupational psychologist, a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), as well as a full professor in human resources management and development in the Department of Industrial Relations at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). Holder of the Addoceo Chair in Health Human Resources Development (ISM-UQO) and Senior Researcher at the Montfort Knowledge Institute (ISM), he leads the Équipe de recherche multidisciplinaire sur les organisations en santé (ERMOS). He is also the Scientific Director for the Centre d’études et de recherches en psychologie industrielle et comportement organisationnel (CERPICO). In his research work, he has a general interest in human resources management and development. More specifically, he is interested in aspects of the individual/organizational interface that promote the reconciliation of workplace well-being and organizational performance. His work deals with issues related to the effectiveness of training offered in companies, the transfer of learning, errors and their place in organizations or in the learning process, organizational learning, change management, employee retention, as well as psychological health in the workplace. For several years now, he has been showing a greater interest in the study of these different themes among professionals working in the health care field. Passionate about research and professionally committed, he intervenes in practical settings in a spirit of both enhancing existing knowledge and transferring new knowledge in relation to his areas of specialization.
