Michelle Dorion

Biography

Trained as a physiotherapist, I’ve been working in the healthcare field for the past twenty years. Passionate about education and health, I am a clinician-researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort and a clinical professor in the physiotherapy program at the University of Ottawa.

Research interests

Four main areas: 1) the measurement and evaluation of complex constructs; 2) the validation and development of measurement instruments; 3) practices related to the interprofessional model of care; and 4) the active offer of services in French. As part of my PhD, I developed tools to measure satisfaction with the use of teleconsultation among patients and healthcare professionals in a minority francophone context.
