Patricia Huston

Biography

Dr. Huston is a family doctor, public health medical doctor and clinical researcher at the University of Ottawa. She has been affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine for over 20 years and has worked in public health nationally for the past 15 years. She is interested in the physical and mental co-morbidities related to the Canadian Exercise Medication Initiative, particularly with respect to the physical and mental health benefits of Tai Chi. Her current research interests include tai chi for head injuries and advanced imaging techniques to assess changes in the thoracolumbar fascia in tai chi practitioners with low back pain.
