Biography
Patrick Archambault holds a doctorate in medicine from Université Laval. Patrick Archambault is an emergency physician, intensivist and integrated clinician-researcher with the CIHR at the Centre de recherche du Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de Chaudière-Appalaches. His research program aims to evaluate the impact of a wiki used as a knowledge transfer tool on the quality of care administered in emergency departments and critical care. Her projects explore the use of this innovative technology, based on sharing and free access to information, to improve care for the elderly, people at the end of life and victims of traumatic brain injury. In 2013, he created WikiTrauma, a platform that allows the sharing of knowledge tools between healthcare professionals.
In addition to his own projects, he participates as a co-investigator in several other projects as a researcher responsible for the knowledge transfer component.
