Biography

Dr. Richard Waldolf is a family doctor / anesthesiologist who completed his medical training at the University of Ottawa; where he currently holds the rank of assistant professor. He obtained a Fellowship in Simulation / Medical Education at the University of Ottawa’s Center for Competence and Simulation and is currently pursuing a Masters in Medical Education at Dundee University. He teaches at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Ottawa and is particularly interested in the use of simulation as a teaching method in the field of medical emergency management. He is currently the director of the simulation program at the Knowledge Institute at Montfort Hospital. He is also an in-situ simulation educator for the patient safety program at the Ottawa Hospital.
